About Us

Chris Ferrari, President

Chris has been a trusted adviser and innovative consultant to political and business leaders for 16 years.

In 1997, Chris helped lead Kenny Guinn to his gubernatorial victory, and later joined Governor Guinn’s administration as Director of Board and Commission Appointments and Legislative Liaison. In this capacity, Chris made inroads with Nevada’s community and business leaders, and helped the administration to pass Nevada’s Millennium Scholarship and Senior Rx programs.

Chris has handled award-winning issue campaigns on behalf of Nevada’s doctors that ended up in a Special Session of the Nevada Legislature and, ultimately, passage of the first tort reform in Nevada in decades, and has led statewide lobbying and campaign efforts on behalf of the construction industry, which allowed contractors the “right-to-repair” before getting sued.

Chris has effectively and successfully represented clients at the local, state, and federal level in many different areas. His style is one of understanding process and people, and being a quick study of issues. The combination has led to a successful private sector career representing small and large, public and private companies and governments.

Prior to forming Ferrari Public Affairs, Chris worked for R&R Partners, one of the country’s premier advertising and communication firms and creator of the world-renowned “What Happens Here, Stays Here’ campaign.

Chris graduated from the University of Nevada, and serves as the Chairman and appointed member of the Washoe County Organizational Effectiveness Committee, an organization of business leaders that helps to advise County staff and elected officials. FPA supports many community organizations including Opportunity Village, the Boys & Girls Club, the Nevada Lung Association, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, the Nevada Humane Society, The Aaron Arnoldsen Memorial Foundation and many more. He is also active in the Italian Benevolent Society, Northern Nevada Wine Association and the International Wine & Food Society – Lake Tahoe chapter.
